Deputy Area Coordinator Consolidated monthly salary Tk. 36,062/-
We are looking for a group of fresh graduates who are willing to work with children, their community and local government authorities for facilitating Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) Approach. The CCCD is a core approach of Plan where children take the lead for identifying their issues, prioritizing their agenda, involving their community, participating in the social mobilization process and sharing their achievement within and outside their community. To take part in this CCCD process you must have: Masters (result must be published in 2012 or later) or equivalent qualification preferably in Social Science, Anthropology, Development Studies, Statistics or Mass Communication and Journalism; a natural ability to facilitate children group and their community; Willingness to be stationed at upazilla level in Gazipur (Sreepur), Lalmonirhat (Hatibandha), Dinajpur (Khansama), Nilphamari (Jaldhaka) district. willingness to learn and drive motorbike for field visits; and Communication skills in Bangla and English plus computer literacy for operating office applications and emails. If selected, you will be placed in the pool for a period of two years and will be called when a vacancy arises. In the beginning, you will be designated as Deputy Area Coordinator reporting to a Senior Coordinator. During this period we offer on-the-job training with one-to-one coaching opportunities for career development. Based on the demonstrated performance we expect that you should get a promotion within two/three year’s time.
