A society oriented online channel aimed at identifying and solving social problems on a large scale. Youth TV aims at creating and transforming whole communities and social oriented industries. Unlike traditional Television or Online Channels, Youth TV primarily seeks to generate "social value" rather than profits and unlike the majority of businesses whose work is targeted towards immediate, small-scale effects, Youth TV is programmed to sweep and grow towards long-term change. By Identifying and solving large-scale social problems Youth TV is driven to produce measurable impact by opening up new pathways for the marginalized and disadvantaged, and unlocking society's full potential to effect social development and entrepreneurship. The most Important aspect and aim of Youth TV, as stated in its name, “Youth TV” is aimed at powering and driving the YOUTH of Bangladesh into entrepreneurship that is not only beneficial to the society but to themselves by empowering, Motivating and providing the quality skill building training sessions.  

 

Job Title - Video Editor No. of Vacancies: 2 Job description: receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay; assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video media in preparation for inputting into the computer; inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer; digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable; creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the program/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages; reordering and tweaking the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video. Additional tasks may include: overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing; consulting with the producer throughout the post-production process; experimenting with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements; selecting the most effective shot of a scene in terms of drama, story relevance or continuity; writing voiceover/commentary; suggesting or selecting music; Job Nature: Both full time and part time Entry Requirement: BFA in Fine Arts or equivalent Degree in Graphic Design Additional Entry Requirement: communication and media studies; photography/film/television; fine art/visual art; information technology/multimedia; graphic design. Entry without a degree or HND is possible but applicants must show commitment and determination to enter the industry. Courses offering film/media production experience may be advantageous Salary : Tk 15,000 (For full time 10am-6pm)              TK 7,500 (For part time 10am-2pm, 2pm-6pm & 6pm-10pm)
