Role / Department Overview: Ensure best customer experience through practice of user experience & application of user centered design. Design best possible user friendly & intuitive products / services based on UCD methodology. Spread the knowledge of UX across GP in line with organizational goal to be a customer centric company.
Job Responsibility
• Apply and disseminate knowledge of User Centered Design (UCD) during product/service/interaction element development (i.e. UI, GUI, IVR, USSD, Website, Application, mobile app, FB app)
• Conduct Usability evaluation for existing and prototype of User Interfaces (UIs), IVR, Applications and Sites
• Conduct user-research (e.g. Customer Journey Mapping, User Interview etc.) to gather customer insights for existing and new products /services
• Undertake activities to capture customer feedback prior to market launch through FGDs, in-depth interviews etc. with customers at Grameenphone Experience Lab (GEL)
• Act as the single practitioner for all User experience/ usability work, perform all activities and manage third party vendors in conducting UX research and optimization
• Assist the team to formulate strategies and framework focusing on user experience; drive it across the organization.
Education & Experience Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors/Masters Degree
Certification or Specialization on User Experience/HCI/ Usability
EXPERIENCE
Overall 4 years experience in relevant field
Experience in usability and user interface design related projects
Special Skills Requirements
• Understanding of Human-Computer interaction, Usability, Visual Design & Human Factors
• Understand UX perspectives in terms of telecommunication industry
• Excellent communication skills in English language
• Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork across the organization
